Move Smart, Move Safely: Kids Road Safety Day
Come with your family to Move Amsterdam on Sunday, March 17th, and learn together in a playful manner how to navigate the roads smartly and safely. In collaboration with Veilig Verkeer Nederland, Move Amsterdam has prepared a wonderful program incorporating both educational and fun elements.
Every day, we all participate in traffic, from young to old. But whether it's all done consciously and safely, that's a good question. Mobility is intertwined in the DNA of Move Amsterdam, which is why we believe it's important for kids to know how to confidently participate in traffic.

Program Explanation
The program consists of five different challenges:
- The Move Traffic Quiz (11:00 am or 3:00 pm)
- Create a traffic light smoothie using your own power
- Design a unique traffic sign
- Set a record time on the bike course
- A tour through the Mobility Experience
You can participate in the challenges at any desired time between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. Only the Traffic Quiz is scheduled at a fixed time, which you can join at 11:00 am or 3:00 pm. Otherwise, it's up to you when you arrive and leave. If you want to complete the entire program, please allow approximately 2.5/3 hours.
Preparation for the National Traffic Exam
At the end of March, the annual traffic exam will be conducted in primary schools again. The traffic day at Move Amsterdam is a fun and playful preparation for this exam. But even if your child doesn't have to take the exam (yet), it's a great opportunity to experience this theme together as a family.
Ticket Sales Explanation
Young and old are welcome at the Road Safety Day! Purchase a ticket per child (€16.50) and/or adult (€12.50) to gain access to the event. (This includes a visit to the Mobility Experience worth €7.50 and the other activities offered).
