Move Lab turns 1 year old and we are celebrating big! Visit Move Amsterdam on Saturday, October 10th for free roller skating in our beautiful entrance!
Join a cool rollerskate workshop by SkateDance (also free) to the beats of DJ Leroy Rey. For parents, there is plenty of space to relax and watch – or join in the skating fun! Finish the visit with freshly baked poffertjes.

24 UUR ZUID 2026
Our 1-year anniversary is part of the event: 24 uur Zuid (24 hours South)
24 hours South is a one-day event in the Amsterdam South district where you can rediscover the neighborhood through various free and special activities. Expect performances, tours, workshops, talks, and more. Special places will also open their doors to the public. A great opportunity to take a look inside places you wouldn't normally visit. In short: plenty of opportunities to discover this district in a different way. Check out the entire program here and plan your day in Zuid!
ROLLER SKATING AT MOVE
During 24 hours South, our beautiful entrance transforms into a real skate park. DJ Leroy Rey provides the music.
Come between 11:00 and 16:30 for a morning or afternoon full of movement. Want to learn how to skate? Join one of the 3 workshops by SkateDance, recommended for kids from 7 years old. No need to sign up for the workshops, but make sure to arrive on time. First come first served.
Of course, you can also skate freely. Bring your own skates if you have them. They fit comfortably and you'll be on your way quickly. If you don't have them, roller skates are available. All levels are welcome. Children are welcome under the supervision of their parents and skating is at your own risk.
